01/12/2011 UNITED OCEAN LINES network partner ALLSEAS GLOBAL LOGISTICS wins prestigious IFW award "Allseas Global Logistics" was named the winner of the IFW Project / Heavylift Forwarder of the year.
The project contracted to Allseas Global Logistics involved the transport of five generator units as well as two equipment control rooms including vital components to serve as emergency power back-up units in the newly built nuclear power plant in Shimane.
The challenge of this project was the tight time frame but also the need to design and manufacture special transport and lifting equipment to realize a direct delivery at the power plant's seaside without the possibility to make use of road transport due to size and weight of the individual components
"We congratulate Allseas Global Logistics for being named winner of the 'IFW Project / Heavylift Forwarder of the year award' for this challenging project carried out in an extremely professional manner. This award follows the BIFA award earlier this year proving the quality and dedication that is rendered towards the business by our individual partners" a spokesman of United Ocean Lines said.

26/05/2011 UNITED OCEAN LINES Global Agency Meeting (GAM) confirms expansion strategy The Global Agency Meeting (GAM) of United Ocean Lines, being held in Beijing in May 2011, confirmed the successful business strategy as well as formed the direction of the companies’ future growth.
Dynamic areas such as West Africa, Central and South America West Coast but also the Caribbean Sea, offering a sound potential of growth for the upcoming years are being set to support and complete today’s setup already covering more than 50 countries on a global scale.
Having been able to start servicing both Ecuador and Panama in the recent past, the latest addition now also allows to offer containerized services to and from the Dominican Republic.
However United Ocean Lines business strategy does not only focus towards an ongoing territorial growth but also aim to strengthen the diversity of the different business segments such as consolidation or project cargo in addition to today’s core business segment – Full Container Loads (FCL)
An ongoing and careful evaluation of market trends and forecasts will allow United Ocean Lines to continue an over proportional growth, despite an increasing imbalance of supply and demand on several major routes.
It is our aim to maintain the position of a reliable and quality driven partner towards our clients, members but also vendors a spokesman of the company said.
